Car Coat and Safari Jackets

Gradually replacing long trench coats and work jackets with contrasting collars are new models. For instance, the car coat—a straight trench coat reaching the knee or mid-calf—was seen in many collections. The runways also featured jackets with large patch pockets and drawstrings, or safari jackets, which seem to be taking the place of work jackets with contrasting collars. Both styles are utilitarian and very practical for city life.

Shirt and Tie in the Same Color

Typically, a tie contrasts with a shirt, but in the Spring-Summer 2027 collections, designers took a different approach, matching ties to shirts tone-on-tone. An interesting technique was observed at the Vetements show: the tie was worn backward to highlight the label. Easy to replicate.
