The singer said “yes” to Callum Turner in an outfit that is already a contender for one of the most stylish bridal looks of the year
Dua Lipa has officially become the wife of Callum Turner, and along with the wedding news, discussions of her look immediately flooded the internet. And for good reason: for a small ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall, the singer eschewed a traditional wedding dress in favor of a more unexpected choice – a couture ensemble by Schiaparelli.

Created by Daniel Roseberry, the look consisted of an ivory fitted jacket, a sculpted corset with lace detailing, and an asymmetrical skirt. The ensemble combined two aesthetics at once – classic bridal and Schiaparelli’s characteristic architectural style, which lends a fresher feel even to the most traditional silhouettes.
The ensemble was complemented by a wide-brimmed Stephen Jones hat, white gloves, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Bulgari jewelry. However, the main highlight remained the engagement ring, which Callum Turner created together with Dua Lipa’s sister and her closest friends. This very piece of jewelry with a round diamond on a wide gold band last year already sparked a new wave of interest in more substantial wedding rings.

Interestingly, fashion commentators have already seen in Dua’s look a reference to one of the most famous bridal appearances in pop culture history – Bianca Jagger’s look in Saint Laurent at her wedding to Mick Jagger in 1971. At the time, the model also opted for an alternative to a traditional dress, choosing a suit ensemble and a wide-brimmed hat.

It seems that in 2026, wedding fashion continues to move towards individuality and personal interpretations of iconic looks. And while in recent years brides have increasingly opted for less classic silhouettes in favor of something more minimalist, Dua Lipa has proposed another relevant formula – an exquisite architectural suit that looks no less solemn than any dress with a train.
